News about Protective bail of Imran Khan. Marking the end of the hours-long riot created inside its premises, the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday approved Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Imran Khan’s request for bail until 3 May. March in a case related to the protests outside the ECP — Election Commission of Pakistan.
After several notices were sent to Khan, the PTI chairman “finally” appeared before the LHC today to appear in two separate hearings when judges told his lawyers that his presence was required on bail depositions.

Despite reaching the LHC facility within the allotted time (5 pm), the willing prime minister was not able to appear in court until around 7:30 pm. m., since his convoy was surrounded by a large number of party supporters.

Lawyer Khawaja Tariq Rahim, Khan’s lawyer, informed the court that the former prime minister was present at the court premises and pleaded with the court to mark the wounded leader’s presence in his vehicle.
Upon this, Judge Najafi ordered the lawyer to introduce his client to the court when he arrived at the court premises.
Referring to the rush inside the court premises, the lawyer said Khan’s cast would be damaged if someone pushed it.
“The appearance of the suspect in court is mandatory for provisional bail,” the judge remarked.
