Latest News About Jail Bharo Tehreek. Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and workers voluntarily surrendered to police on Wednesday as the party launched its ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’ (judicial arrest movement) in Lahore.
Taking to their Twitter account, the PTI shared that their party’s Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi, General Secretary Asad Umar, Swati, Omar Cheema, and other leaders and workers are being taken to Kot Lakhpat jail in the police van.

The prisoner’s van arrived earlier at Cárcel del Campo, where workers chanted slogans and several landed on the van’s roof.
Former PTI minister Hammad Azhar, who was present outside the camp jail, said: “We have come to be arrested. They will run out of places [to imprison us]. We just told a few hundred people for now. They are saying that there is no space in the jail and they have asked us to wait”.
Workers were also seen making TikTok videos. PTI leader Mian Abid also got on a police mobile and kicked it, breaking the glass in the process. The politician tried to escape from the site, but the police chased and arrested him.
Earlier, while kicking off the first phase of the movement, the top leaders of PTI came to the Capital City Police Office (CCPO) in Lahore to turn themselves in for arrest.
